Christmas season blog + Christmas topper :)
I don't want to admit that the holiday season is almost over, but it is. If you have a real Christmas tree that you bought in the 1st week of December, you probably now have a dead tree that drops lots of needles just from being poked. My husband and I started to pack our Christmas decorations and I feel a little sad about it. We got married last year in September and we didn't get to decorate our home for Christmas because we both had so much stuff from the time we lived on our own. This is our first year we got to do Christmas decorating and it was an awesome experience. I even made our own tree topper!
We got our tree from Ikea for 20$ |
Since this is our first Christmas tree as married couple, I thought having a DIY Christmas star would make everything a little more special. I added a mesh burlap ribbon on the back which was taken from our wedding decorations.

Holiday Nail Colours!
Hi everyone! Just to be clear, I'm not a nail expert. Just a girl who likes to paint nails and collect different nail polish colours. I mostly get my nail polishes from Shoppers Drugmart or Walmart and others are from different clothing stores. I don't go out and shop for nail polish. Just whenever I happen to be in the store, I go check out their cosmetics section and when a colour catches my eye or if I don't have that colour, I buy it - as simple as that.

Christmas is near
Hello! As most of you are aware, Christmas is near! It means streets are a bit brighter and prettier. Most houses have their Christmas trees up and of course there are school and church christmas plays! I volunteered to direct the pageant at my church and I was a little bit busy. I really wanted to post random stuff but I just couldn't find the time to sit down. Anyway, it was a cute vintage pageant. Kids, teens and adults were involved. I really enjoyed it. I would do it again if I get the opportunity! :)
Here's a photo of me after the play. I looked kind of exhausted! lol
I wore my green dress that I bought from Beyond the Rack last year. The pearl necklace and earrings are from my beloved husband. I was wearing black leggings with a white flower pattern but you can't see it on the photo. They look like this: link.
