Rainy Day Outfit

It's summer  but sometimes it rains here in Calgary like it's raining cats and dogs! It's kind of a good thing and a bad thing, we need all the grass to be greener and the roads to be cleaner but it gets a little chilly! and that sucks.
My outfit is totally boho inspired.
Most of the clothes were bought from Winners except the boots. I got that from beyond the rack.

Life lately // a Transition from Spring to Summer

Hello internet! Happy 4th of July! and don't forget Canada just had its birthday too!

I've been busy with life lately!

I just want to share a few things that made my spring to summer transition more fun.

Few of my friends together with my husband, we went to witness an amazing performance of music by Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. It was a lovely experience plus I got to dress up!

I also enjoyed some hiking this time of the year. I want to be fit for the summer so a long hike won't hurt. ;)

Those flowers above were my flowers! :) Our lilacs were blossoming last month and I couldn't help but to take some snapshots.

Spring 2015 Clothing Haul! Part 2 0f 2

 As I said in part 1, I've been shopping for the past three weeks, so here is part 2 of my haul. I told myself that I will not do any clothing shopping until the Fall. Let's see if I can make it!

I went back to Express because I was at a different mall that is located on the other side of the city.

When I look at this top, I think it is the perfect "adult" top for me.

Also, I shopped at Nordstrom because they are having their Half Yearly Sale until May 31st!  I can honestly say that I had a lot of fun in the store. The sales ladies were very friendly and helpful.

When I tried this top on, I right away thought that it would be a perfect Stampede top!

I went to Free People on the same day I shopped at Nordstrom because both are in Chinook mall.

These high rise jeans are super comfortable. They're really perfect for my cropped tops.

I wore them to church the next day!

~ I also went back to Army and Navy where I found a dress that looked like it was from Free People!

~ Lastly, I was looking for a nice cropped denim jacket. I bought this one from Guess. I never regretted buying this because of how comfortable it felt as soon as I tried it on! I've tried a lot of denim jackets and sometimes they feel so tight that I have to get 1 or 2 sizes bigger to be comfortable, but that wasn't the case with this one.

Hello!

In my last post, I said that I would share a little bit of my May long weekend holiday with you!

So here it is.

My husband and I together with the youth group camped in Chilliwak because we were there for a Youth Conference called History Maker. The conference ended last Sunday and we planned to stay there until Tuesday morning. So we all got to visit Vancouver and had a lot of fun!
We rode on the SkyTrain cause we don't have that in Calgary--(we do but not like SkyTrain) and the Sea Bus! We basically just went to North Vancouver and back to Sea Bus terminal downtown. lol
We also went shopping at Granville Island. I bought cherries there instead of the usually knick knacks.

Spring 2015 Clothing Haul! Part 1

I've been wanting to do a haul for so long but I kept forgetting it. Since I did a lot of shopping these past 3 weeks, I decided that maybe I share it with you!

Just a reminder, I didn't buy all of this at once, I'm not that rich (I wish). I haven't really shopped a lot for at least 2 months now. I usually just visit Winners and get one or two pieces of apparel approximately once every 3 weeks. So I kind of saved some shopping money.

Hawaii part 3

It's been a week since we've been back from Maui. I already miss it there. We wished to stay for one more week but I think our hearts would be a little more broken if we had stayed longer. We went to Iao Valley and enjoyed the rain forest and the water. We also went to Haleakala to witness the sunrise! We were still on Calgary time so it was a little easy for us to get up at 3 in the morning. The view was phenomenal, and I highly recommend it! The pictures don't give justice to the magnificent view of the sunrise.

Cute Spring Dresses under $100

I'm not sure how many times I've said this in my blog, but IT'S SPRING! Yay!
Since wedding season is coming soon, I looked up some cute dresses for some inspiration.

Anyways, I just started packing away my fall/winter apparel and unpacking spring/summer.
I know you might think I'm doing that late, but last Monday it snowed here in Calgary and it was chilly until yesterday.
